She wrote literature in Urdu, producing novels, dramas and short stories. I do not have anything against religion, but not I don't know why we no longer have writers like Bano Qudsiyah and novels like raja gidh.

One thing I didn't like was the way she described religious people. The metaphor of the vulture as an animal feeding mostly on the carcasses of dead animals is employed to portray the trespassing of ethical limits imposed by the society or by the religion.

Bano Qudsia died in Lahore on 4 February It is a totally enthralling journey of three class fellows, of unrequited love, desire and lust.

Gidh is the Urdu word for a vulture and Raja is a Hindi synonym for king. I can't just read from page 1 to the last page, as I do with fiction books.

If Seemin had been somewhat religiousQayyum and Suhail wouldn't have fallen in love with her, similarlyif Aftaab and Seemin were really in love with each other then the proper way was to marry first and then increase their affection. This book is an amalgamation of many emotions and experiences and it does discuss the subject of haram, but does not solely endorse it.

This novel is a thought provoker just like the Alchemist of Paulo Caulho, which leaves a lasting impression on the reader. Raja gidh is an amazaing but heavy philosophical text. Personal search has always been the area of interest in East. Some words gave me goose bumps. We are working hard for making app better and more useful for you.
